Random Discombobulation

Exercise - Welcome To America Demotivational Poster
This reminds me of my gym, which I haven't visited since falling ill. Most of the parking is in back. There are gym rats who will actually sit in their idling cars to wait for someone in front to leave so that, in their quest for fitness, they don't have to walk all the way around the building.

Today I found a 1940 nickel. That's, like, older than me, and I'm pretty old. Anyone who tells me "You're only as old as you feel" will be summarily killed since I feel awful.

I am now the proud owner of a giant 2 gallon mixing bowl. For those of you who use the stupid metric system, that's a whole lotta litres. Now I can finally make certain recipes in one shot instead of dividing the ingredients among smaller bowls.

when are you going to feel demonstrably better, Grant?

Fitness for me is being able to make my way to the coffee perk so that I can lift that sweet jug of life giving ambrosia to my face repeatedly for the remainder of the day!

They say you're only as old as you feel but the true story is that you're only as old as the ONE that you feel so you must quickly get yourself a spry co-ed this instant! Preferably an adorable J Bunny if at all possible, they're so wickedly divine!

I am seeing that big bowl filled to the brim with delicious Lynchburg Lemonade, it makes me smile BIG :-)

I left you an enormous reply over at my place, I haven't swallowed my afternoon delivery from the erstwhile white rabbit as yet, it has a tendency to make me wordy indeed!

I like you Grant.
Thank you for letting me in.

Sadly, I understand paragraph 2 all too well.

crys - a month ago they said 6 months to a year for a full recovery. It's been coming along, but slowly.

jgrrl - thank you. Bunnies rule!

enemy - getting old stinks, doesn't it?

Getting old beats NOT getting old, if you catch what I'm throwing out here. :)

I use stock pots for mixing large batches of things. The kitchen cabinetry in the TH won't support something as large as a 2-gallon mixing bowl. Sad, really.

I hate the gym but I LOVE big roomy mixing bowls!

I'll help you kill 'em....I'm feeling kinda awful today myself.

So what's your preferred weapon of destruction? ;)

tiff - maybe you could mix things in the toilet bowl. No need to add water and just flush to stir.

mq - a cat could sleep comfortably in mine.

pq - Flamesaw™.

Ha I use to get starbucks 400 calorie drink and smoke before I went to the gym, and yes I am the annoying one who will wait for a spot close to the gym.

I can't imagine mixing two gallons of anything, but congratulations on your purchase.

Hopefully you can make a batch of something that'll make you feel better.

Dear Grant,
You need to get married. Soon.
Also, a "Craisen" is a sweetened dried Cranberry. Not unlike a raisin.

(I have no idea when you commented on my recipe blog, but I noticed your question today because I'm planning to make me some scrumptious spinach salad TO-NIGHT!)

And just think: American gals work out so hard just to look like J-gals who never work out at all...

Must be nice! ;)

ssc - some of my fellow gym rats smoke WHILE exercising. I've found cigarette butts hidden under the machines.

joe - two gallons of booze might be a good start.

acte - send me a Japanese woman and I'll get on it.

enemy - actually, it's about a week old. I have nothing new. Any suggestions?

~deb - most American women mistakenly think their giant boobs and hips are attractive, but that's only true in the case of your fat, stupid, inferior men. Note - I formally converted to Japanese so I'll be thinner and live longer.

Hey Grant, as you know, all of Japanese are HOT. :) they absolutely are!

miner - I have seen some I didn't find at all attractive, but they seemed to be the exception rather than the norm.
