I'm actually suprised he got rid of the bird...unless of course the bird was orgasmically saying the other man's name. Parrots are extremely intelligent and are usually imprinted to one person. That is why it is sad he got rid of it.
My mom's parrot will see you passing his cage and yell "Let Me out NOW!" haha I'll have to take a listen to see if he knows the mail man's name too.
