When I look at people, things, and situations, I try to think of the one single word that most perfectly describes them. When I awoke (too early) this morning, I realized I had never tried that on myself. Before I could even mull the situation over, the perfect word leapt out of my brain: bloodthirsty.
Now that I'm more or less fully awake, I don't think that's really the best word to describe me, but I still like it. It succeeds on so many levels and, if it's not a perfect description, it's at least a good goal.
So, what's your perfect word?
