Good News for a Change

Yesterday I went to the doctor (again) for the latest round of tests / billing / med adjustments, and they discovered that my current meds and routines are doing all they had hoped. That doesn't mean my diabetes has cleared up (it's not a rash), but it does mean we're minimizing the damage and progression of the disease. For the first time in two and a half years, the doctors don't see an immediate need to get me back in their office, nor are they asking pesky questions like "Are you SURE you're still alive?"

Our regularly scheduled bitching and hot Asian women will resume tomorrow.

Sweet. Now I can stop worrying about you and focus more on cartoons.

That is great news. I'm diabetic now for 19 years. The doctor once looked at me and said, "You're healthier than you should be."

I still go back to the doc most every 3 months.

And now that you posted this, tomorrow you're going to wake up and your arm will have fallen off.

I always likened your condition to Leprosy. I just assumed that random bits fell off of you until you were just nubs and eyes. Isn't that how it works? If I touch you, will I get the diabetes?

Can you touch my child's mother and give it to her? That would be boss (yeah, I said it. I suck).
