If you're reading this, you're doomed

I recently heard that Circe, one half of the hotties that contribute to the Just For Fun blog, has died. I hadn't kept in touch with her, being mired in my own affairs, and didn't even know she was ill. Her last post was in July. I didn't even leave a comment because she was younger and healthier than me which meant I had all the time in the world to contact her.

She's not the first blogpal to die on me suddenly. I hadn't heard from Sarcasmo in a few days and was on the verge of sending her an "R U Dead?" kind e-mail when I heard that she had died. She had recently demoted me from her blogroll of friends to a list of other blogs, and I never got to ask why.

My point is that not keeping in touch with me can be fatal. It used to bother me that absolutely nobody in the known universe would ever think to e-mail or IM me first, but now I realize that the universe is using me to weed out those who don't communicate. You have been warned. Leave a comment or face the consequences.

No way I would die for a more worthier cause than ignoring you. I want to go down in ship that way I will have company and someone might make a film about me where a later day (no I dont mean a Mormon) Kate Winslet equivalent poses nude for me

Still here, but nobody's home.

Seriously, Grant. That's horrible that they've died so suddenly.

And I guess I'll have to add you to my list of superstitions now!

Are you serious Grant?
Maybe this is why i've taken up blogging again....
I wish the Peanut Queen would start back again too. I really miss her posts :( I know -Let's gang up on her!

So just like I kill celebrities for blog fodder, you're the angel of death for bloggers?

Want some money? A kidney? Some Asian hotties?

Jay - okay, keep the bunny links coming.

SJ - we will have Brad Pitt play you in the movie.

Captain Dumbass - It's actually out of my hands - just seems to happen. If you die, can I have Supreme Leader?

Imnotbenny - okay, as long as the chicken is in the oven you will be safe. Take it out and risk the wrath of God / Zeus / Buddha.

dr.alistair - yes, but I'm supposed to be dying faster than most of you.

NYD - just post pictures of J-hotties to remind us that you're still alive.

Kathy B! - it's better than if they died horrible, lingering deaths.

Patti_Cake - you have returned just in time to save yourself. Get the PQ back before the grim reaper claims her next.

Avitable - apparently I am, and the first one who died owned her own domain, so don't think your Holier-than-Google status will save you.

Fuck that shit. I'm dying on my own timetable, you bastard.

Sorry, Sugar Tits. I've been checking blogs at work where the internet Nazis have a particularly puritan view on what is appropriate interweb usage. Glad you're not dead. Don't think I don't love you. You know you're my number one girl.

Before you try and off me, just remember who sent out a search party for your trifling ass when you got sick!!

AND you're still on my blogroll....
AND I post bunnies for you.....
AND I can't think of anything else..

It's so strange that people can feel emotions for people they've never met, yet somehow I feel sad. Strange. Anyway, consider this my application for staying alive. Thanks man.

Tracy Lynn - I thought you were too filled with hate to ever die.

Matt - I love you too, even though your blog is hidden.

metalmom - I won't try to off you, the universe just uses me in that capacity. Jebus is speaking to me and telling me to do bad things. Also, he is not happy that your one bunny pic post was a smaller version of a picture I already did. He's funny that way.

Martini - I never met her, but we communicated enough that I felt she was at least a small part of my life.

i feel like i am in a horror movie, at least you don't have a piano wire like the chick in Audition.

Well...

14 of us appear to not fear death. Donate my organs for me and scatter the ashes where ever the hell you want.

Okay I really am doing my best to blog again, haven't "told" the husband but he stalks my blog (and doesn't know I know it).
We'll see how long it lasts unless WWIII erupts again!

Grant said...

Robin - even better, I have the chick and she has her wire.

Hit 40 - the two who died probably had the same attitude.

Monogram Queen - this time you should choose the blog over your family.

I'm sorry you didn't know about her illness. I think she really tried to keep it under wraps and I sure wasn't going to say anything... because that was her information to do with it what she wanted. Now ya know though. She was sick... had been for years. Cancer is a mean biotch!

Grant said...

Kerry - I didn't know her well enough for her to share something like that if she was keeping it to close friends and family only, but I suspected something was up. But if you suddenly die on me, I will kill you.

Is that why you asked if I had died?
