I just watched the documentary called "Super-Size Me"...it had quite a lot to say about the obesity of Americans. The film-maker spoke with one family who had to bury grampa in a piano case.

I may never eat french fries again.

the US is down on its game. You guys are failing at your own techniques of altering reality. Instead of worrying about obesity, americans should simply shift the meaning of overweight. Tilt the scale a little, and get the majority in the "healthy weight" bracket.
Then we can all admit that americans are truly a different breed.

Obesity is growing in aust too i think...maybe...

My ass may be wide, but it ain't that wide....it'll fit in a normal sized coffin (at least, at the moment it would). :)

Why not just cut all the extra rolls off of those dead fat people? THEY'RE DEAD FOR CHRISTS SAKE!! I wouldn't pay extra money to bury a fat family member.

spider girl - I watched it and did a 30 day no fast food trial which changed the way I eat.

fatty - it's growing in every country, thanks largely to the spread of American fast food restaurants.

tai - :)

pbs - exercise is definitely a better option than viewing obesity as the norm.

pq - if you get too wide to fit the coffin, we can always bury you on your side.

april - of course, then you'd have to pay for the dismemberment of the corpse. I think I see a business opportunity.

I would comment on your post but it was too long and the maroon background hurt my eyes. Don't write so much the next time!

You haven't left yet?

patti_cake - I used to love fast food, but my first 30 day trial cured me of that addiction, and I do consider it an addiction. After I detoxed, I couldn't believe I ever found that stuff edible.

ddot - just make yourself a promise to read one word a day and you'll get through it. :p

mannmotion - I'm waiting until I know a little more than the words for "Allow me to introduce myself" and "bunny."
