Whoever made this movie apparently didn’t bother researching the legend. I can see the tagline now: “This January…lock up your goats.”
The Sci-Fi channel is getting limp. Today they aired The Lost Boys and cut out my favorite bit, the part where Edward Herrmann demonstrated his vampiry superiority by scarfing down garlic and holy water, just to save a few seconds for more commercials. They…must…pay.

I do trust they left the bit with the Chinese food in?
Miraculously, the Chinese food survived the cuts. The scene was probably designed for product placement anyway.
