Lost in La Mancha: good documentary about Terry Gilliam's failed attempt to make a Don Quixote movie. Everyone with Hollywood aspirations (especially beginning film-makers) should watch this. It reminded me how, for better or worse, and artist's passion and work are intertwined. I've never seen people here in the cubefarm laugh while they work, or get frustrated when they can't.
Pumpkin soup: I like pumpkin pies, so why not? Bleck! The stuff was more like pumpkin paste, even when warmed. I didn't get past the first bite. Fortunately, I had the old Southern standby on standby - cornbread and blackeyed peas.
Warning - blog owner is old and cranky and if you leave a comment he will follow you back to your place and return comment which usually leads to drama and debate, so if your blog is particularly Jesus / kitty / kid-intensive, you may want to reconsider.
