Foreign stuff is so classy

Last night I watched an episode of Burn Up Excess, an anime series best described as Charlie’s Angels of the future (with a woman taking Charlie’s place). It’s about a team of freelance female operatives drawn in the typical Japanese style of animation, which is to say that they don’t remotely look Japanese. Each one has bright hair, big round eyes, and large breasts which usually appear on screen ahead of the rest of their bodies. Sometimes to alleviate the boredom of having to listen to a character talk for a full ten seconds the camera slowly pans upwards from her ankles and lingers over her curves. Sometimes it makes it all the way to the face, but frequently it can’t roll over the humongous breasts. No blood, but plenty of sexual innuendo despite being made for a young audience. Basically it’s good for the kids and dad can sit on the couch next to them while masturbating. Pause for a moment to imagine your own childhood as you watched cartoons and imagine your dad next to you playing smash the bishop. There doesn’t seem to be anything in the mix for mom, but that’s just as well. It’s Japanese and she is supposed to be in the kitchen making sushi or having another baby or possibly blowing dad so he doesn’t have to do all the work himself.

But I don’t have time for TV since I’m playing the visual novel Kana – Little Sister. It’s the heartwarming adventure of a young man who is trying to boff his underaged terminally ill sister who depends wholly on him for support and protection. If you haven’t guessed already, it too is Japanese. So far I’ve been unable to score with any of the women in the story, which makes the game remarkably true to life. It's a unique gaming experience in that part of me hopes I lose.

And the other part hopes I get anal.
