Last night I watched Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, a movie that does not live up to the expectations created by the title, similar to Surf Nazis Must Die. Watching this should count as a religious experience because it is god-awful. It’s not even the enjoyable type of bad movie, like Plan 9 from Outer Space – it’s just plain bad, from the “acting” to the weak dialog and pathetic plot. I’ve heard it was created by a bunch of Canadian film students, which prompted me to forever associate the phrase “Canadian film students” with “most incompetent buggers possible”, as in “Who created Windows ME – a bunch of Canadian film students?”
Note – Manos: The Hands of Fate is still worse, but now it has competition.

Sorry Grant - Us Canadian readers should have warned you. Most of the time Canadians are ok at entertainment like things, such as our comedians but for the love of god (or satan) DO NOT WATCH CANADIAN MADE FILM OR TV! Except for Trailor Park Boys.
Okay "JC Vampire Hunter" and "Surf Nazis Must Die" are on my to-see list. I've got to see if they top "Redneck Zombies". The worse movie i've ever watched to date. It, too wasn't "fun bad" like "Plan 9 from Outer Space" or "Mars Needs Women". Ugh. I hate wasting a good two hours of my life on a sucky movie.
I know somebody who might be interested in this movie. He's always in the market for bad horror. Thanks!

patti_cake - they're a lot like Redneck Zombies - really bad, but not bad enough to be interesting.
doug - it's bad alright, but I'm not sure if it's really horror, even with the use of vampires.
