Gotta love the South (from a transplanted Northeasterner - is that even a word?) But they didn't mention Charlotte!

Let me try this one more time...Yes! Athens made the list. Finally, we're known for something other than football and bad math scores!

"Hold onto your confederate money boys, the south gonna rise again."

leesa - I actually make a good salary, and I'm willing to spend most of it on an Asian woman (just ask my dentist).

tigerkiss - the article mentioned specific cities, two of which are in Georgia, so we win. Jackson didn't make the list, though. Neither did my old town of Birmingham.

wendy - it was probably #8.

angie - actually, my stereotype for Athens is the Dawgs and a lot of bars.

pq - yes, we win again. Just like the Civil War.

patti_cake - we've been slow about it, but apparently we finally arrived.

thanks for reminding me that sydney land is some of the most overpriced in the world. totally.

you could actually by a mansion in hollywood for what you'd pay for a beachfront shack here.
