Theology Lesson of the Day

Last night I dreamed that I had an apartment on Babylon 5 with an outside terrace. We were at war with some alien race (I don't remember who) since Lorelai Gilmore began using gold-tipped plastic cutlery. I was jumping from patio to patio, scaling the rails, looking to sabotage an enemy microwave oven when the alarm interrupted my heroics. I awoke with a headache and a revelation.

If power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, then god must be the most corrupt entity in the universe which makes him Satan. Therefore, ergo, ipso facto, all worshippers of an almighty presence (including, but not limited to, xtians, jews, and muslims) are, in fact, devil worshippers.

That's your wisdom for the day. Send me a dollar.

Enlightened, out

In this case, dinner was a homemade pizza with black olives, which upsets my stomach and stimulates my brain. I always have the weirdest dreams under the influence of black olives.

I never bought into the whole pregnancy=cravings bit, until I was pregnant with my daughter. All I craved, for about two straight months, was black olives. I even drove myself to an all-night store, evoking strange looks from the check-out ghandi when all I purchased at 3 a.m. was two cans of black olives.
Must be something in the shiny little bastards.
